October 27, 2009—Cornfed Red’s Billiard Café was alive and kicking with action this weekend as they presented The Viking Cue Amateur 9-Ball Tour’s $1500 Added event. The action kicked off on Saturday and continued thru out the weekend as players not only competed for the $4490 up for grabs in the tournament they also competed for $1350 up for grabs in the 10-Ball ring games held throughout the weekend.
Robert Frost from Kentucky would take home first place after he double dipped Jim Davis from Cleveland, Ohio. The player would battle it out it both sets of the double elimination format with Frost coming out on top in both sets 9-7 to take the win.
The Viking Cue Amateur Tour events cue raffle this weekend was won by Toby Napier took home a cue valued at $340 this weekend and Mario Heveria would win the second chance drawing claiming his prize of a Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour Tshirt.
The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour would like to thank Dane Clark the proprietor of Cornfed Red’s Billiard Café as well as his staff for hosting the event. We will be returning to Cornfed Red’s Billiard Café in January as the establishment has began its rebirth as one of regions premier billiard room.
