Viking Cue Tour Amateur’s Rule At Dot’s Cue Club Billiard Event

November 20th-22nd, 2009–The Viking Cue Amateur 9-Ball Tour took center stage at Dot’s Cue Club in Rocky Mount, N.C. as Amateur players from around the region filled the room for a weekend packed with action. The Viking Cue Amateur 9-Ball Tour would attract 63 entries for the weekend and payout over $4500 in prize monies.
The action packed weekend kicked off on Friday nite with a mini tournament. Jeff Tabet that had made his way north from Atlanta would defeat local player DJ Outlaw to take home first place in the Friday Nite Mini Tournament.
The Viking Cue Amtaeur 9-Ball Tours $1500 Added event kicked off on Saturday and pitted some of the toughest Amateur players in the region against each. Eddie Little would find himself sent to the one loss side of the chart in round 2 by Linwood Whitehead. Little would fight his way back to take home 3rd place after a loss in the semi finals to Younger Chapman. Chapman was sent to the one loss side in the match for the hot seat by Glenn Russell. Jeff Tabet who had scored big in the Friday nite mini tournament would go 2 and out. The event would be won by Glenn Russell who plays with a Viking Cue, worked his way thru the top half of the bracket sending all opponents to the one loss side and would face off against Younger Chapman in the finals. Russell took home the win by winning the true double elmination finals in set one 9-1.

Sunday would see more action as The Viking Cue Amateur 9-Ball Tour would kick off it’s second chance mini tournament. The event would be won by Vernon Rogers who would make his way to the hot seat undefeated and claim first place by defeating Mike Janis 5-4.
